LANDSLIP consortium
Our consortium has 25 named and 11 unnamed junior to senior researchers. It includes government, higher education, and not for profit organisations: three in India, one in Italy and five in the UK.
We have strong expertise in social sciences, social practitioners, disaster risk reduction, meteorology, landslides and multi-hazards. Many of us have extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects. We have had a strong co-design and enthusiasm from the beginning with our three Indian partners.
The Geological Survey of India (GSI), the nodal department for landslide-hazard management in India, is a particular strength of the project team. They have extensive contacts with decision makers and the intellectual knowledge about landslides in India.
We are also establishing an external advisory board. Two external advisory board members with defined tasks having already been working with us since the project's inception.
